2. Loosen the locknut (24 mm).
3. Install the special tool on the rear differential.
4. Slightly loosen the locknut so that the caulk comes out of the groove and fits onto the thread (approx. at 35°).
5. Tighten the lock nut until the caulk is aligned with the groove again.
6. If a piece of locknut is caught in the groove, remove it and loosen the locknut.
Attention. If the chip is not removed, repeat steps 4, 5 two or three times.
7. Loosen the locknut (24 mm), remove the spring washer (24 mm), protective ring, O-ring and connecting flange.
8. Loosen the 8 x 6mm bolts and remove the torque converter housing and 6 x 1.0mm dowel pins.
9. Remove the shim (30 mm) and coupling guide.
10. Remove hub/plates/clutch discs and pressure plate.
11. Remove the thrust needle bearing and oil pump drive shaft.
12. Remove the three bolts (6 mm) and remove the oil pump housing assembly, oil pump pin, magnet and automatic transmission oil filter.
