- Check the driveshaft boot for cracks or cuts. If necessary, replace covers and clamps.
- Check for loose clamps and grease leakage. Replace clamps if necessary.
- Check the drive shafts for deformation and cracks. Replace drive shafts if necessary.
- Check inner and outer hinges for cracks. If there are cracks on the hinges, replace them as an assembly.
- While holding the inner hinge with your hand, turn the outer hinge left and right and check the play. If there is excessive play, replace the inner or outer pivot assembly.
