Attention: Before checking the oil level, stop the engine and wait at least 3 minutes.
Examination
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Remove the oil level dipstick and check the quantity and condition of the oil.
Wipe the dipstick with a rag, insert it all the way, and then check the oil level.
3. If the oil level is close to the lower limit, top up.
Attention: Do not mix oils of different manufacturers and different grades. Do not use poor quality oils, as this may cause engine damage.
Replacement
Caution: Dispose of used oil in accordance with established regulations.
1. Warm up the engine until the radiator fan operates twice. After warming up, turn off the engine.
2. Loosen the drain bolt and drain the oil.
Caution: To avoid burning yourself, wait until the engine has cooled down.
3. Replace the washer with a new one, tighten the drain bolt to the correct torque, and then fill with the recommended oil.
Caution: Do not overtighten the drain bolt.
Select the viscosity of the oil according to the expected ambient temperature.
Under the severe operating conditions below, change the oil more frequently, every 5,000 km or every 6 months. Long off-road driving. Long-term operation of the car at a negative outside temperature.
Frequent trips over short distances.
With frequent engine operation at idle speeds. or moving at low speed.
When using the car as a towing vehicle.
4. After filling the oil, start the engine, wait at least 3 minutes. and make sure there are no oil leaks.
