Lamp replacement
1. Remove the front bumper (see ch. Body).
2. Disconnect all headlight connectors.
3. Remove the 3 mounting screws and remove the headlight assembly and front bumper upper corner beam.
4. Remove 2 screws from the top corner beam.
- Headlight bulbs: 55/35W
- Front position lamps: 5W
- Front turn signal lamps: 21W
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
6. After installation, align the headlights.
Before adjustment:
- Check the horizontal position of the test site.
- Check that the tire pressure is correct.
- Place one person in the driver's seat (weighing approx. 55 kg).
- Unload heavy items from the back of the vehicle.
Attention.
- When the headlights are on, the lenses become very hot, so do not close them for more than 3 minutes.
- Since the outer headlight lenses are made of plastic, do not close them for a long time, as they can deform.
Replacement of discharge lamps
Attention. When the headlights are turned on, a high voltage is momentarily generated in the HID lamp socket, so pay attention to the following points when replacing the lamp.
Do not work in places where snow or rain falls, and do not work with wet hands.
Do not touch the glass surface of the lamp, and also make sure that oil does not get on it.
1. Set the light switch to the OFF position and disconnect the battery cables.
2. Loosen one TORX screw using a T20 TORX wrench and remove the cover.

3. Remove the spring holder, remove the lamp.
4. Remove the discharge lamp from the socket.
5. After replacing the bulb, adjust the direction of the headlights.
Diagnostics of malfunctions of gas-discharge headlights
Low beam headlights not on
Before diagnosing, check the serviceability of fuses No. 43 (20A) and #45 (20A) in the relay box.
Replacing the headlight high voltage unit
1. Set the light switch to the OFF position and disconnect the battery cables.
2. Remove headlight assembly (see above).
3. Remove the discharge lamp from the socket (see above).
4. Disconnect the plug from the headlight assembly.
5. Remove the 3 screws and remove the block from the headlight assembly.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
