Component Location/Check
Attention.
- Before assembly, clean the contact surfaces of the wheel and brake disc, as well as the contact surfaces of the brake disc and hub.
- Remove the alloy wheel center cap from the inside of the wheel after removing it.
Removal and installation
1. Remove rear wheels.
2. Remove the wheel sensor e/wiring bracket and the wheel sensor.
Do not disconnect e/conducting from the wheel gauge.
3. Turn off a fixing bolt of an arm of a brake hose.
4. Turn off two fixing bolts of an arm of a brake support, remove and suspend a support a wire.
Attention.
- Do not hang the caliper on the brake hose.
- Make sure the caliper does not hit other components.
- Do not kink the brake hose.
5. Loosen the spindle locknut and unscrew it.
6. Loosen the screws (6 mm) from the brake disc and remove the brake disc.
Tighten two bolts (8 mm), as shown in the illustration, and while tightening the bolts evenly, remove the brake disc from the hub.
Attention. When installing the brake disc, carefully clean the mounting surfaces from rust and foreign particles.
7. Disconnect a fist from the top lever and draft of the stabilizer.
8. Disconnect the fist from the shock absorber.
9. Disconnect the fist from the trailing arm and lower arm.
10. Disconnect the knuckle from the drive arm and control arm.
11. Disconnect the parking brake cable (see ch. Brake system).
12. Remove the fist from the drive shaft.
13. Install in the reverse order of removal.
When installing the knuckle, tighten the suspension components in the following order:
- After installing each component, tighten the bolts/nuts by hand.
- Transfer the weight of the car to the suspension by lifting it with a jack.
- Tighten the bolts/nuts to the required torque.
14. Check and adjust wheel alignment (see above).
