Clutch disc and pressure plate — installation

1. Apply a thin and even layer of grease to the inner splines, seat on the output shaft splines and wipe off excess grease.

Note: Use only HONDA Genuine Urea Grease UM264 (P/N41211-PY5-305).

2. Install the ring gear holder.

3. Install the clutch disc using the special tool as shown.



4. Install the pressure plate and tighten the bolts by hand.



5. Tighten the mounting bolts crosswise as shown. Tighten the bolts in several passes to prevent the diaphragm spring from warping.



6. Turn off special bolts.

7. Check the height of the tops of the diaphragm spring.
