Normally open relay type A:
1. Check for continuity between contacts.
- When applying power and ground to pins #3 and #5, there must be continuity between pins #1 and #2.
- When the power is cut off, there should be no conduction between contacts No. 1 and No. 2.
- Relay 1 headlight
- Relay 2 headlights
- Radiator Fan Relay
- Condenser Fan Relay
- A/C compressor clutch relay
- Horn relay
- Power window relay
- Rear light relay
- Seat heater main relay (KG model)
- Starter Disable Relay (left hand drive: CVT)
- Shift Interlock Relay (models KQ, KU: CVT)
Normally open relay type B:
1. Check for continuity between contacts.
- When applying power and ground to pins #2 and #4, there must be continuity between pins #1 and #3.
- When the power supply is cut off, there should be no conduction between contacts No. 1 and No. 3.
- Fan motor relay.
