Note: Do not scratch the body and adjacent components.
1. Remove the front bumper (see above).
2. Turn off bolts, then remove a cowl latch. Disconnect the hood release cable from the hood latch.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- Apply grease to the areas of the hood latch marked with arrows.
- Make sure the hood release cable is properly connected.
- Adjust the location of the hood latch (see above).
- Make sure the hood locks securely.
