Installing an oil dampener

1. Clean damper contact surfaces, bolts and bolt holes.

2. Apply a continuous bead of 1.5 mm diameter sealant to the damper.

Note: Parts must be installed within the time specified in the instructions for use of the sealant. Otherwise, the sealant must be removed and reapplied.

3. Install the oil damper, tighten the bolts of its fastening with the nominal tightening torque.
