Oil Handling Precautions
1. Prolonged and often repeated contact with engine oil causes the natural fat layer to be removed from the skin and leads to dryness, irritation and dermatitis. In addition, the motor oils used contain potentially hazardous ingredients that can cause skin cancer.
2. Wash hands thoroughly with soap or other cleaning agent after handling oil. After cleaning the skin, apply a special cream for recovery; natural fat of this skin.
3. Do not use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel or thinner to clean leather.
Checking the engine oil level
1. Park the vehicle on a level, level surface.
2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
3. Turn off the engine and wait five minutes.
4. Remove the oil dipstick and wipe it with a rag.
5. Reinstall the dipstick until it stops.
6. Remove the dipstick and check the oil level in the crankcase. The oil level must be between the maximum and minimum level marks. If the oil level is low, check for leaks and add - the same type of oil that was filled into the engine, up to the upper mark through the oil filler neck.
Engine oil selection
1. Use oil recommended by the manufacturer.
- Oil quality according to API - SG, SH, SJ
2. Viscosity (SAE) select according to the temperature range chart corresponding to the operating conditions of the car until the next oil change.
Engine oil change
1. Warm up the engine.
2. Place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface.
3. Remove the oil filler cap and unscrew the drain plug.
4. Drain the oil through the drain plug on the oil pan into a suitable container.
5. Stop the new gasket and tighten the drain plug.
- Tightening torque - 39 Nm
6. Fill the engine with new engine oil.

Filling capacity:
- dry engine: 4.2 L
- with filter change: 3.6 l
- without filter change: 3.4 l
6. Install the oil filler cap.
7. Run the engine for 3 minutes and check for oil leaks.
Oil filter replacement
1. Using the special tool, unscrew the oil filter.
2. Wipe the mating surface of the oil filter housing with a clean rag.
3. Apply clean engine oil to the oil filter O-ring.
4. Install the filter and tighten it by hand.
5. Using the special tool, tighten the filter an additional 3/4 turn.
6. Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
7. Check the oil level, top up if necessary.
