Attention: careless handling of the airbag can cause it to deploy spontaneously, which can cause serious injury. Before removing the airbag, read the Operation and Repair Precautions section of the chapter "Passive safety system (SRS)".
1. Set wheels to straight ahead.
2. Remove the driver's airbag (see chapter "Passive safety system (SRS)").
3. Disconnect the horn connector (A).
Left hand drive models.
Right hand drive models.
4. Loosen the bolt (IN) steering wheel mounts,
5. Install special tool (A) and loosen the steering wheel.
6. Remove the special tool.
7. Turn away a nut and remove a steering wheel.
