Note: Be careful not to damage the wire harness when assembling.
1. Place the vehicle in a straight ahead position.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 3 minutes.
3. Remove the driver's airbag.
4. Disconnect the coiled wire connector and remove the steering wheel bolt.
5. Make sure the vehicle is in a straight ahead position and remove the steering wheel pad.
6. Remove the steering wheel.
7. Turn away screws and remove the top and lower overlays of a steering column.
8. Disconnect the two instrument panel wire harnesses from the coiled wire.
9. Bend the retainer with a rectangular tool as shown in the figure and remove the coiled wire.
10. Before installing the coiled wire, place the vehicle in a straight-ahead driving position.
11. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 3 minutes.
12. Set the turn signal switch to the position where the tabs are vertical, as shown in the figure.

13. Establish a spiral wire on an axis of a steering column and connect sockets of a spiral wire.
14. Establish overlays of a steering column.
15. If necessary, centralize the coiled wire. First you need to wrap the spiral wire clockwise until it stops, then turn it counterclockwise for about three turns, so that the mark is directed vertically upwards.
16. Be convinced that pins of indexes of turn are located according to ledges, as it is shown in drawing, and establish a steering wheel.
17. Wrap a steering wheel bolt and connect sockets.
- Tightening torque - 39 Nm
18. Install the driver's airbag.
19. Connect the negative plug of the storage battery.
20. After installing the coiled wire, do the following:
- turn the ignition key to position "ON" and check that the SRS light comes on for about six seconds and goes out;
- turn the steering wheel all the way in both directions and make sure that the SRS indicator does not light up;
- make sure the beep is working;
- make sure the cruise control button works;
- make sure the turn signals are working.
