2. Make sure you know the anti-theft code of the audio system and navigation system, save the custom settings of the audio system.
Disconnect the negative wire from the battery terminals first, then the positive wire. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the battery retaining bracket.
4. Remove the engine bottom cover.
5. Remove oil inspection bolt A and washer B. Check fluid condition. If fluid is contaminated, remove drain plug C and washer D
6. Install the drain plug with a new gasket.
7. Remove oil control bolt A and washer B.
8. Fill in gear oil through the dedicated top-up hole until oil flows out through hole A of the oil control bolt.
9. After the oil stops flowing, install the oil control bolt B and a new washer C.
Oil quantity: 2.2 l at oil change; 2.5 liters after repair.
Use genuine manual gearbox oil (MTF) brand Honda. Using the wrong brand of engine oil can make shifting difficult because it doesn't contain the right additives.
10. Install oil filler plug A with a new gasket.
11. Install the battery support.
12. Install the battery. Connect the wires to the battery terminals, positive first (+) wire and then negative (-).
13. Enter the audio and navigation system codes and tune the radio into preset stations.
14. Carry out the procedure for reconfiguring the power window control unit.
15. Install the engine bottom cover.
