Note. Keep the timing chain away from magnetic fields.
1. Remove the panel under the shield.
2. Remove the cylinder head cover.
3. Install piston No. 1 to top dead center (TDC). mark «UP» And on the sprocket, the timing chain should be on top. Align the TDC B mark on the intake camshaft and the exhaust camshaft.
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
5. Remove the upper part of the windshield washer reservoir tube A, the drain tube B and the air conditioner tube mounting bolt C, then remove the expansion tank D from the bracket.
6. Support the engine with a jack and a piece of wood under the oil pan.
7. Remove boom booster A and top torque rod B.
8. Remove the brake hose fixing bolt A and the engine side support booster fixing bolts B.
9. Remove the connection cable from «weight» C, then remove the upper engine side mount bracket D.
10. Remove the engine mounting bracket.
11. Remove the timing chain case.
12. Reinstall, without tightening, the crankshaft pulley.
13. Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise to compress the auto tensioner.
14. Align the holes on lock A and auto-tensioner B, then insert a 2.5 mm diameter calibration pin (P/N 13451-RBD-003) With in holes. Turn the crankshaft clockwise to tighten the calibration pin.
15. Remove the automatic tensioner.
16. Remove tensioner arm.
17. Remove the timing chain.
