- a) Standard set of locksmith tools;
- b) Torque wrench with 1/2" drive;
- c) Tool for putting on piston rings;
- d) Tool for crimping piston rings;
- e) Short lengths of fuel hose for fitting rod bearing caps onto studs;
- f) Measuring set Plastigage;
- g) A set of blade type probes;
- h) File with a small tooth;
- i) Fresh motor oil;
- j) Assembly motor or lubricant based on molybdenum disulphate;
- k) gasket sealant;
- l) Sealant for fixing threaded connections.
To save time and minimize problems, assemble the engine in the following order:
- a) Connecting rod and piston assemblies (engines B18C1, B18C5, D16Y5, D16Y7 and D16Y8);
- b) crankshaft and main bearings;
- c) Rear crankshaft oil seal with holder;
- d) Connecting rod and piston assemblies (V18V1 engine);
- e) Oil pan slinger;
- f) Oil pump with oil pickup;
- g) Oil pan;
- h) cylinder head;
- i) Camshaft (s) and assembly of rocker arms;
- j) Water pump;
- k) Timing belt with timing gears;
- l) Inlet pipeline and exhaust manifold;
- m) Front cover sections;
- n) Cylinder head cover;
- o) Flywheel/Drive Disc.
