Rocker arms — removal

1. Secure the rocker arms with a rubber tie to prevent them from separating.



Remove the exhaust and exhaust rocker arm oil control port, then remove the VTEC solenoid valve and seal bolts.

Attention: The design of the oil control hole for the exhaust and exhaust valve rocker arms is different. Identify parts for subsequent assembly.

Install the 12mm bolts into the rocker arm axles. Remove each rocker arm by slowly rotating the intake and exhaust rocker arm shafts using force in the axial direction as shown in the illustration.
