Replacement
1. Disconnect the 2K external temperature sensor.
2. Press the latch and remove the external temperature sensor.
3. The installation order is the reverse of the removal order.
Trial
Compare the resistance between contacts No. 1 and No. 2 of the sensor with that indicated on the graph, at the appropriate temperature. The resistance should be close to the specified value.
Note: Immerse the sensor in cold water and measure the resistance, then add hot water and notice the change in resistance.
Attention. The sensor contains a thermistor, which can be damaged by high currents during the testing process. Therefore, only use a tester with an output current within 1 mA in the 20 kΩ range.
