Adjustment
LHD type:
1. Disconnect the heater valve cable from the valve lever and clamp and from the heater control lever and clamp.
2. Set the temperature control lever to MAX. COOL
3. Rotate the heater control lever as indicated, then connect the end of the heater valve cable to the heater control lever.
4. Gently push the heater valve cable housing back from the end until there is any slack in the heater valve cable without moving the temperature control lever. Secure the end of the heater valve cable housing into the stopper, then secure the heater valve cable with the clamp.
5. Rotate the heater valve lever as usual, then attach the end of the heater valve cable to the heater valve lever.
6. Gently slide the heater valve cable housing back from the end until there is any slack in the heater valve cable without moving the temperature control lever. Secure the end of the heater valve cable housing to the stopper. then secure the heater valve cable with the clamp.
Note: Whenever you disconnect the heater valve cable, always adjust the air flow control cable.
RHD type:
1. Disconnect the heater valve cable from the heater valve lever and clamp, and from the heater control lever and clamp.
2. Set the temperature control lever to MAX. NOT.
3. Rotate the heater control lever as indicated, then connect the end of the heater valve cable to the heater control lever.
4. Gently push the heater valve cable housing back from the end until there is any slack in the heater valve cable without moving the temperature control lever. Secure the end of the heater valve cable housing to the stopper. then secure the heater valve cable with the clamp.
5. Turn the heater valve lever as shown, then attach the end of the heater valve cable to the heater valve lever.
6. Gently push the heater valve cable housing back from the end so that there is no slack in the heater valve cable without moving the temperature control lever. Secure the end of the heater valve cable housing to the stopper, then secure the heater valve cable with the clamp.
Note: Whenever you disconnect the heater valve cable, always adjust the air flow control cable
