Carefully inspect the valves, check for cracks on the chamfers of the valves, traces of uneven wear, metal carryover and burnout. Check for cracks in the necks and stems and for bending of the stems by rolling the valve over a smooth surface (photo). Check the wear of the grooves under the crackers and the uniformity of the wear of the rod. The diameter of the rod should not be less than the normative more than 0.025 mm. Check the valve play in the sleeve by rocking it from side to side. Check the condition of the valve heads for burnt edges, melted chamfers and "concavity" valve head plane (To do this, you need to compare all the valves with each other). Replace worn or damaged valves.
