1. Set the parking brake, block the wheels and place the lever in neutral.
2. Remove the console.
3. Inspect the selection cable for adjustment. The groove on the arm mounting bracket must align with the marker on the cable housing. This marker is located between the adjusting sleeve and the point where the cable is attached to the lever.
4. If the marks do not match, then loosen the two locknuts on the adjusting sleeve and turn the adjuster as needed.
5. Once the marks are aligned, tighten the locknuts on the regulator. Check how long the thread comes out of the regulator. The thread must not protrude more than 10 mm.
6. Check up operability of the lever of a gear change.
7. Check shift cable adjustment. Set the lever to 4th gear.
8. Measure the gap between the lever bracket and the front edge of the limiter by pushing the lever forward. On the front of the bracket there is an inspection hole into which the caliper can be inserted. The gap should be 6-7 mm.
9. If the clearance is not as specified, loosen the two locknuts on the adjuster and turn the adjuster as needed.
10. After setting the correct clearance, tighten the locknuts. Check how long the thread comes out of the regulator. The thread must not protrude more than 10 mm.
11. Check up operability of the lever of a gear change. Replace the console.
